It asks researchers and AI companies to protect scientific integrity, disclose how systems produce results, and keep research priorities with the mathematics community.
- Rahul Parhi receives the 2026 Popov Prize — The UC San Diego electrical engineering professor was recognized for research in approximation theory. His work examines what neural networks learn and when a trained model can perform well on new data.
